What were you doing New Years Day?

A friend of mine, Cynthia, who is very talented, put together an event surrounding an art work she produced. The art was a series of questions engraved on Japanese glass fishing floats.
Here are the questions and the color of each float:

Where is home? (yellow)
How are you spending each day? (blue)
Can you imagine the synapses in your body like bits of lightening? (green)
When was the last time you swam in the ocean? (green)
With whom do you feel empathy? (blue)
When was the last time you experienced awe? (blue)
What are you afraid of? (yellow)
What would you do if you had 24 hours left to live?
I can’t remember for sure, but I thinks the last one is: If you could say something to a large group of people, what would it be? Or, it might be totally different. I’m just not sure. I’ll check when I go to my studio next.

Thought Bubbles on New Year’s Day at high tide, 3pm, at Deveraux Beach.

We were all invited to chose a float and meet at the beach on New Years day.
At 3 pm the tide is heading out toward Potugal, Spain, France, England, Africa... and we each took our float and threw it into the current. Good questions are heading out to sea. Be on the look out! Let us know if you find one washed up on your shore.
