Sometimes it disappears. I've found out that when schools and towns collide the first thing to go is the art room. Luckily I’ve made the jump to 5th grade. Now I’m teaching science by using art. Integration seems to speed the mind up and concepts can be explained in numerous ways to different learning styles.
It’s been a quick summer. Not enough planning what with halls being moved and classrooms not being completed. Now we know how to pull together to make it work.
I should probably write about this when I’m not so tired..
